OUR STORY

In 2001, Jeff and Lea Ann Stiller started a custom home building and realty company called Stiller Builders. Combining Jeff’s luxury building experience and Lea Ann’s extensive real estate skills, they built their company into one of the premiere construction companies in Southern Indiana. Over the next decade, they designed, built, bought and sold hundreds of custom homes. Aside from their business exploits they served on the board of the Homebuilders Association for years and led multiple charitable efforts including relief for the victims of Hurricane Katrina in 2005. They built countless dream homes for their clients while building a dream life for themselves.
In 2013, Jeff and Lea Ann decided to challenge themselves and moved to Los Angeles, California. They took their building and realty expertise and picked up right where they left off. During their time there they evolved their strategy from high volume building to high end building. They worked on a variety of different projects from custom builds, to additions, to remodels. They collaborated with world class architects in some of the hottest markets in California including but not limited to : Bel Air, Beverly Hills, Malibu, and The Hollywood Hills. They built homes for multi A-list celebrities and their work was featured on the cover of Dwell Magazine.
In 2023, Jeff and Lea Ann felt once again it was time for a new adventure, said goodbye to sunny California and moved out here to Boulder and formed a new company The Homestead Collective. The business has grown from the core team of Jeff and Lea Ann and expanded to a larger team. Our team includes of course our home builders and realtor founders, but now includes an interior designer, marketer, in house master carpenter, people operations director and financial analyst. We work together as a team, with each other, with our colleagues, and with our clients. Our secret ingredients are collaboration, curiosity and craft. We're committed to building beautiful, environmentally responsible homes that exist at the intersection of art and nature.
